Rane Brake Lining Q1 net profit soars three fold

Auto component maker Rane Brake Lining today reported an over three-fold increase in its net profit at Rs 2.66 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2009. - Merck Q2 net down 34% at Rs 12 cr - Pennar Q1 net profit at Rs 38 crore - TCS Q1 net up 19% at Rs 1,534 cr - Nokia posts 66% fall in Q2 profit at euro 380 mn - Exide Industries June qtr net up 49% at Rs 122 cr - SIB Q1 net up 56% at Rs 60 cr The net profit for the first quarter during the last financial year stood at Rs 80.13 lakh, the company said in a statement. The total income also rose 5.41 per cent to Rs 53.09 crore in the latest quarter from Rs 50.37 crore in the year-ago period, it added. The company has its manufacturing facility at Tiruchy in Tamil Nadu. Some of its major clients include Mahindra & Mahindra, General Motors, Maruti Suzuki India and Tata Motors.
