Bengal okays creation of 606 new posts

The vacancies would be filled up mainly in the Land and Land Revenue and Forest departments, Dasgupta said. The state cabinet also expressed satisfaction in fulfilling rice procurement target last year and hoped to surpass the target of 18 lakh tonnes this year. The state government would keep the procurement price at an appropriate level.
